New Haven Ballet announces a four-week Friday morning Introduction to Pointe Class for ages 11 to adult. This class follows the drop-in Open Division beginning ballet class on Friday mornings. To participate in the pointe class, the dancer must first take the beginning ballet technique class to ensure proper warm-up and readiness for the pointe class. Dates: July 12, 19, 26 & August 2 Cost: $66 + drop-in rate for beginning technique class Time: Beginning Ballet Technique 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Intro to Pointe 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Location: Danspace Studio, 70 Audubon Street, New Haven, CT This introductory pointe class is designed for ballet dancers who have at least two years of classical ballet training.
