We are excited to share our latest news and updates for the winter season at New Haven Ballet!

1. The Nutcracker at Shubert Theater
Join us for a magical performance of The Nutcracker at the Shubert Theater this weekend, December 12 to 14. This year's production stars NYCB’s Sara Adams and Harrison Coll, joined by students from the New Haven Ballet School. William Guitierrez will dazzle as the Snow King, and Timothy Fountain takes on the role of Drosselmeyer. We look forward to seeing you at the Shubert.

We are in the theater all week preparing for the shows. We hope you enjoy these photos from our time there.

2. Winter Break School & Office Closure
New Haven Ballet School will be on winter break from December 8 through January 4. During this time, there will be no regular classes, and the office will be closed. Fall classes will resume on January 5, 2026.

3. Winter Break Class Schedule
For students looking to keep moving over the break, we are offering special sessions:

• December 16 to January 3 (Levels 5 - 8): 

  • Tuesdays 4:30 to 6:00 PM

  • Saturdays 10:00 to 11:30 AM

• December 16 to January 4 (Open Division Ballet): 

  • Intermediate Ballet: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 10:00 to 11:30 AM

  • Beginning Ballet: Fridays 10:00-11:30 AM

  • Intro to Pointe: Fridays 11:30 AM -12:30 PM

  • Intermediate Ballet: Saturdays 7:30-9:00 AM

4. January Special New Student Offer
We are welcoming new students ages 3 to 9 with a full month of classes for only $60 throughout January. This is the perfect time to try ballet with us.

We look forward to seeing you on stage, in class, and celebrating the joy of dance this winter season.
