Student Division

Widely regarded as the standard for classical ballet training throughout the Greater New Haven area, New Haven Ballet offers students an opportunity to improve their technical skills and artistry through a premiere summer ballet intensive experience.  During the July Intensive program, Level 2-8 dancers train daily in a pre-professional classical ballet curriculum, which is supplemented with Pilates, conditioning, pointe, and repertory classes. The July Intensive also provides dancers with exposure to West African, Latin, Broadway, and Contemporary dance taught by the finest teachers in the region. Students who participate for the full in-studio program can achieve marked improvement in strength, flexibility and technical ability, readying them for their upcoming Nutcracker season.

Students register by the week to accommodate summer schedules.
